Boletus edulis, known as the Cep or Penny-bun Bolete, is a most sought-after edible bolete. It is frequently found at the edge of clearings in broad-leaved and coniferous forests.
Harvest season for fresh boletus: May 20th to Oct. 20th
There is the factor of weather: Raining and thundering is good for the growing of boletus. Picking timing is also very important. Picking premature or over-mature ones is not good.
